Under the direction of Jonathan Brown\, the Canto Deo Festival Choir and Orchestra has shared the rich tradition of sacred Christmas music in the metro Denver area for nearly two decades now. \nThis year’s program features familiar carols from composers like Handel\, Wilberg\, and Rutter\, alongside Dan Forrest and Matthew Owens. Also\, this year’s concert will premiere a specially commissioned piece\, The Christmas Story\, by celebrated British composer Thomas Hewitt Jones. We look forward to seeing you! \nFree tickets are required for admission; due to COVID safety protocols\, audience size may be smaller than in years past. \n  \n\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				2021 COVID-19 Notice:\nCanto Deo will abide by the current rules imposed by the CDC and any state-based mandates. Bach\, Mack Wilberg\, Barbara Bell\, John Rutter\, and others. As a special treat\, we will premiere a newly-commissioned piece; I Wonder as I Wander\, arranged by acclaimed composer John Paul Hayward. Hayward’s haunting orchestration of this earthy folk carol brings the mystery and wonder of the first Christmas to life. \nAnd don’t forget to warm up your singing voice!
