Advent Service of Lessons & Carols Service #2

Canto Deo opens their 2018 – 2019 season with the beautiful Advent Service of Lessons and Carols. Featuring choral traditions drawn from around the world, this service brings a listener’s soul close to the heart of the Advent season. As you join in this time-honored tradition you will be blessed by the richness of musical gifts from composers old and new. Featuring a new composition of People look East by Peter Marchbank, with complex vocal harmonies and lush organ accompaniment; the lovely O Remember Adam’s Fall by Grayston Ives; or the serene peace found in Will Todd’s The Rose. The Canto Deo Chamber Choir will also present annual favorites, such as the moving E’en So, Lord Jesus, Quickly Come by Paul Manz and the celebratory Lo! He Comes with Clouds Descending by Sir David Willcocks. Plan to have your mind and spirit renewed when you join us on December 2nd.
