Who We Are:

Canto Deo is a Denver based Community Christian Choir that is dedicated to the performance and preservation of our heritage of sacred choral music. The nearly 100 members of Canto Deo worship Christ through the excellence in singing and joyfully extending that musical message to our community and the world!

The purpose of Canto Deo is to study and perform the great sacred choral compositions, support the creation of new sacred choral works, and serve as a resource for sacred music.

Canto Deo establishes relationships with other choirs through out the nation and the world and extends this music to audiences and musicians including children and students who will become the future of this cultural legacy.

Canto Deo is directed by Jonathan Brown, B.A., M.M., who brings his vast knowledge of sacred music, worship styles and a deep love of Christ. Jonathan has served as a music director for churches for 25 years.

Canto Deo enjoys singing for all types of congregations and audiences, and is available for worship services. Smaller groups of 20 and up appropriately accommodate any church.
